Job summary

ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Custodian for the night shift to maintain the facility and support production operations. The role includes cleaning floors, restrooms, and performing basic equipment maintenance.

Hours are 6:00PM to 2:30AM with a pay range of $19.00–$20.00 per hour. The position offers weekly pay, medical/dental/vision, 401k with match, PTO, and other benefits, with opportunities to cross-train across areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals safely.
• Basic maintenance skills and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Custodian will be responsible for the maintenance of the facility or plant and will provide assistance where needed.

Nightshift Required (Hours Include 6:00PM-02:30AM)

Salary: $19.00 - $20.00

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
• Gather and empty trash
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Provide light maintenance to equipment
• Move product as needed to facilitate production processes
• Daily equipment upkeep/safety inspections
• Keep production area & facilities clean and neat
• Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment
• Perform basic routine upkeep on facilities
• Responsible for communicating with other departments to assist with production
• Associate will be crossed trained in multiple areas to help as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Must be comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning products
• Must have basic maintenance skills
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Must be self-motivated, able to complete a task to the best of her ability under little or no supervision

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats;loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted
