Qualifications

• Three+ years of custodial, commercial cleaning, educational, industrial, or facility-maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, halls, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect spaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Clean windows and frequently touched surfaces.
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies.
• Perform floor care: buffing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, carpet cleaning.
• Set up and remove tables and chairs for events.
• Report maintenance, safety, or security concerns.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, gyms, locker rooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect assigned spaces
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
• Clean windows, glass, entrances, and frequently touched surfaces
• Restock restroom and kitchen supplies
• Perform floor care, including buffing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, and carpet cleaning
• Set up and remove tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings, school functions, and special events
• Assist with seasonal cleaning, deep-cleaning assignments, and special projects
• Identify and promptly report maintenance, safety, or security concerns
• Safely operate floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, extractors, and other custodial equipment
• Keep cleaning equipment, supplies, and custodial closets clean and organized
• Follow OSHA requirements and all customer and Perfection Group safety procedures
• Provide professional, responsive service to students, staff, visitors, and facility leaders
• Perform basic facility-upkeep duties and other responsibilities as assigned
