Job summary

Goodwill Industries is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to serve as the main contact at the worksite and ensure contract specifications are met. The role includes training staff, staffing, safety, and strict paperwork control in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have extensive custodial experience with supervisory duties, be able to handle diverse communications in English, and maintain professional standards under pressure. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Five years of custodial experience with two years of supervisory experience.
• Must wear company-issued uniforms.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for Goodwill at the worksite.
• Ensure at least one manager is on duty during work time.
• Orient and train new or transferred custodial workers.
• Supervise, discipline and recommend discharge of custodial workers.
• Schedule custodial employees with payroll cost control and adequate coverage.
• Supervise and motivate custodial employees to meet production guidelines.
• Conduct periodic inspections of subordinates' work performance.
• Prepare personnel and payroll records in a timely manner.
• Complete other paperwork required in day-to-day operation of the contract.
• Inspect equipment on a regular schedule and maintain an equipment inspection log.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and customers in all aspects of professional performance.
• Address all customer complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
• Notify Project Manager of all customer complaints and other issues.
• Observe personnel policies and safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance by subordinates.
• Hold monthly employees' meetings and document discussions; include safety.
• Conduct hourly floor checks and document them.
• Attend assigned meetings as required.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable by the Company's insurance carrier.

Requirements:
