Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker to join our team. This role contributes to a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, following established procedures and helping maintain a sanitary hospital.

The position is casual with a 3pm-11:30pm schedule, every other weekend. Education: high school diploma preferred; hospital custodial experience preferred; must be able to read/write English and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Custodial Workers provide a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. This position is responsible for:

• Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.


• Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.


• Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

FTE: 0.0; Casual

Work schedule : 3pm-1130pm; Required to work every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred


• Experience: Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred


• Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.


• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.

Salary Rate: $20.94/hour
