Job summary

Regions Hospital, part of HealthPartners, is seeking a positive Custodial Worker to join our Environmental Services team. This on-call/casual night role supports a clean, safe environment for patients and staff, with 2200–0630 shifts and weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include cleaning all hospital areas, moving supplies and light equipment, and performing a variety of cleaning duties per procedures. Qualifications include a High School diploma (preferred) and the ability to read and follow

• Custodial experience in hospital setting preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and follow directions in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 90 feet.

• Clean and service hospital areas according to established procedures.
• Move supplies throughout the hospital and light equipment per department set up requests.
• Perform environmental services and cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary hospital environment.

• Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures.
• Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request.
• Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience: Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred

• Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English.
• Physical requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet.
