Job summary

HealthPartners is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to provide a clean and sanitary facility for patients, residents, visitors, and staff.

The role is a 1.0 FTE, 40 hours weekly, with day shifts and a schedule that may include occasional weekends; start times vary from 5:30am to 9:00am to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Proficient in speaking and reading the English language.
• Ability to be on feet for an extended amount of time.
• Ability to lift, push and/ or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to do excessive bending and physical movement.
• Good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of and ability to use all housekeeping powered equipment.
• Good time management skills.
• Able to demonstrate positive customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and sanitary environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a 40-hour work week with day shifts; weekends required every three weeks.
• Start times vary (530am, 7am, 730am, or 9am) depending on business needs.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.
• Report maintenance needs to supervisor.

Job Description

The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for providing a clean and sanitary facility for all patients, residents, visitors, and staff in an efficient manner as directed by the department manager.

FTE: 1.0; 40 hours per week

Work Schedule: Day shifts; Shifts Monday-Friday will vary based on business needs; Required to work at least one weekend every three weeks.

Start times will vary depending on business needs. Start times can include 530am, 7am, 730am or 9am.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Proficient in speaking and reading the English language

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, prior equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of diploma
• Healthcare housekeeping, laundry, linen and floor care experience
