US Air Mobility Command's 92 Force Support Squadron at Fairchild AFB, WA is seeking an entry-level housekeeping assistant for the Fairchild Inn. This Flexible (Intermittent) role offers 0-40 hours per week and on-base lodging services.
Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and areas of the Lodging facility to meet cleanliness standards. No prior experience is required; the emphasis is on following simple instructions and safely using cleaning tools.
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 92 Force Support Squadron, Fairchild Inn, Fairchild AFB, WA. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of cleaning tasks to include cleaning guest rooms and areas of the Lodging facility which provides lodging accommodations to transient personnel and their families. This is a Flexible (Intermittent) position; guaranteed 0-40 hours per week; depending on the needs of the facility.

The work involves light physical effort, such as that involved in using vacuum cleaners and dry mops; running lightweight powered scrubbers and buffers; continually standing, bending, stooping, and reaching; frequently lifting and emptying wastebaskets; frequently pushing carts that may weigh up to 100 pounds, loaded with dirty laundry or wastepaper; occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds.
