Melwood is seeking a Custodian for the Potomac Annex location in Washington, DC. The role involves completing cleaning tasks to meet contract specifications under the Custodial Foreman, with hours 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Employment includes background checks, drug screening, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

This position is set aside for a person with a disability. The wage is $21.02 per hour.

Qualifications

• Criminal history background check and drug screening are required prior to employment.

Responsabilités

• Sweep and mop hallways, stairs and offices.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash.
• Dust horizontal surfaces and clean glass/windows.
• Vacuum rugs and wash walls/vertical surfaces as needed.
• Clean bathrooms and related fixtures.
• Sweep sidewalks and exterior steps; handle snow removal as required.
• Maintain issued equipment and notify supervisor when supplies are needed.
