Melwood is seeking a custodial worker to perform cleaning tasks as specified by contract requirements. The role requires background checks and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Under supervision, you will sweep, mop, dust, and maintain facilities, including floors, glass, and fixtures, with responsibilities ranging from routine cleaning to snow removal. A disability proof and related training may be required.

Formación

• Must have three to six months training or experience, or be capable of learning to perform the essential functions.
• Must be able to pass security clearance for designated contracts.
• Must be able to provide medical proof of a disability

Responsabilidades

• Sweep and mop hallways, stairs and offices.
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose the trash in prescribed manner.
• Dust horizontal surfaces.
• Empty and wash ashtrays.
• Wax and buff floors with prescribed buffers.
• Clean glass and windows.
• Wash walls and other vertical surfaces.
• Sweep and clear snow from outside steps and sidewalks.
• Polish kick panels, doorknobs and other designated fixtures.
• Strip and wax floors.
• Vacuum rugs.
• Mix cleaning solutions.
• Maintain issued equipment.
• Notify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks.
• All other duties assigned by Custodial Foreman.
