Job summary

SBM is seeking a Customer Service Rep Lead to oversee cleanup and sanitation in assigned areas, while guiding custodial staff and ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role involves daily janitorial duties, scheduling, training, and equipment management. The shift runs Monday–Friday from 6am to 2:30pm with an $18 hourly wage; SBM provides comprehensive benefits and emphasizes equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment preferred.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Carry out duties on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction to custodians as directed by supervisor.
• Assist in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule cleanup and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supplies inventory.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.
• Monitor PPE usage and correct at-risk behavior.
• Provide corrective-action recommendations.
