Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleaning and sanitation in assigned areas and guide custodial staff. The role requires direct supervision duties, safety adherence, and coordination with the Custodial Supervisor.

You will perform janitorial duties, manage schedules, operate cleaning equipment, and monitor inventory and supplies. The position offers a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with hourly pay of $20.00–$21.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification; may require valid driver’s license; forklift certification may be required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions; strong verbal and written communication; knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE, and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
