Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and to provide direction to custodial staff. The role involves performing janitorial duties, scheduling, training, and ensuring safety and quality inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and at least 1 year related experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification; valid driver's license may be required based on business needs.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and duties listed on daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule cleanup and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor use of PPE and supplies; correct at risk behavior.
• May need to drive to various work locations or sites.
