Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodial Lead II to oversee cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas and provide direction to custodial staff. The role requires adherence to safety standards and proactive supervision when Custodial Supervisor is unavailable.

You will perform janitorial duties, operate cleaning equipment, train staff, monitor inventory, and coordinate supplies. This position may require driving between customer sites and company facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related janitorial experience.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required; valid driver's license may be required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
• Schedule clean up and repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Track and maintain supply inventory.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
• Monitor employees for proper use of PPE, and supplies.
• Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately.
• Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
