Responsibilities

• Supervises custodial staff by giving verbal and written instructions and using independent judgment where guidelines allow.
• Schedules work activities and adjusts workloads to meet needs and priorities, including unscheduled absences and special projects.
• Inspects work to ensure quality and directs corrective actions as needed to meet standards.
• Develops and trains custodial staff in proper methods and equipment use for safe, efficient work.
• Participates in hiring by interviewing and recommending applicants.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, processes replacement requests, and secures storage.
