Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Custodian for Washington, DC to perform extensive cleaning across public and work spaces and to supervise a team of custodians. The role includes mentoring new hires, ensuring contract standards, and coordinating daily tasks with a supervisor.

Responsibilities cover restrooms, floors, glass, kitchens, and common areas, with duties extending to training staff and maintaining equipment. High school diploma and basic custodial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• CPR/FR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cleaning operations and mentor custodians.
• Ensure and report on quality and quantity of work.
• Respond to supervisor and complete duties on time.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, fitness centers, and public areas.
• Move, arrange, and lift heavy items as required.
• Assist with training staff in cleaning procedures.
