Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking a reliable Custodian in Plainfield, IL to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly office environment. You will perform heavy cleaning tasks, manage waste, and assist with minor repairs as needed.

Essential duties include floor cleaning, restroom services, dusting, window cleaning, and handling cleaning supplies. Requires good physical health and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with shift options 5:00AM–3:30PM, Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 6 months of experience in custodial work or related field.
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Drive vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work.
