Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints seeks a Custodial Team Lead to oversee daily cleaning operations across facilities in Ogden, UT. You will mentor a crew, manage performance, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires proven leadership, ability to train staff, and willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends. Experience with custodial equipment and safety protocols is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of subject matter; typically two or more years related work experience.
• Previous LDS Church custodial work experience preferred.
• Able to utilize technology to meet administrative needs of the position and increase productivity and efficiency.
• Able to efficiently lead and motivate team members while providing feedback, performance improvement opportunities, and employee training and development.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee performance including evaluations, feedback and development plans.
• Coordinate the daily work of approximately 8-12 people.
• Teach, train and model cleaning processes, procedures and practices.
• Motivate, build and develop team members.
• Create a culture of safety within the assigned group.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Clean offices, restrooms, public areas, and fixtures as instructed.
