Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah is seeking a dedicated cleaning technician to maintain clean, sanitized, and orderly spaces across Church facilities. This intermediate, individual contributor role focuses on eliminating distractions by keeping assigned areas in top condition and may support grounds, events, or other manual labor duties.

Qualifications

Must certify in the use of required cleaning equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with team lift.
Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or bend for extended periods.
Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and mechanical lifts.
Capable of following written and verbal instructions.
Must comply with chemical handling regulations.

Responsibilities

Clean offices, restrooms, public areas and fixtures as directed.
Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, polishers, buffers, scrubbers, washers and related machinery.
Operate balers, shredders, aerial lifts, and forklifts.
Window and building exterior cleaning where required.
Restock supplies and dispose of trash.
Report safety or security issues and needed repairs.
