Facilities-Performance-Group, LLC is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to coordinate daily custodial operations across commercial facilities. You will designate shifts, assign work, and ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met while upholding safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:The Supervisor coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial, industrial or other establishments. Responsibilities of this position includes; Daily maintenance of all flooring including, but not limited to, vinyl tiles, carpet, ceramic tiles and terrazzo. Capable of using scaffolds for high Dusting.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOther duties may be assigned.Designates shift and area work assignments for workers by using FPG Routing forms and reviews and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.Issues daily assignment schedules and allocates work in accordance with available personnel.Conducts annual performance evaluations of all assigned custodial personnel.Monitors FPG safety procedures of assigned custodian personnel.Issues supplies and equipment.Resolves employee’s questions or refers matters to manager.Verifies employees' hours worked.Notifies Assistant Manager or Manager of transport of cleaning equipment to the Vehicle Maintenance Department for repair.Maintains records of cleaning frequencies and special projects.Maintains SDS in each area where supplies are stored and instructs personnel on handling of chemicals of workers supervised.Keeps management abreast of building, equipment, personnel and other pertinent issues.Completes any daily paperwork that his/her position requires.Performs employee counseling and takes appropriate disciplinary action as required by the Human Resources department.Participates in ISO practices and embraces ISO principles and philosophies in the performance of principal duties and responsibilities.Makes Safety the first consideration above all other responsibilities. Follows all safety rules and uses sound judgment for the protection of him/herself, co-workers, client personnel, general public and property. Participates in safety training and attends safety meetings as scheduled by Supervisor. Also responsible for reporting unsafe conditions or practices.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThe Custodial supervisor supervises subordinates and oversees Projects in the Custodial Department. The supervisor is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of activities during his/her assigned shift.The supervisor delegates responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee should have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.Mathematical Skills:The employee should have the capability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.The employee should be capable to perform these operations using units of American weight measurement and volume.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to problem solve situations a few concrete variables in situations.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:The employee should be eligible to obtain all licenses and certifications as required by local and/or state jurisdictions. A valid driver's license is required, Commercial Driver's License is a plus.Other Skills and Abilities:The employee must have knowledge of industrial floor care, and restroom cleaning techniques.
