The Thomas Jefferson Foundation in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead Monticello’s custodial team, ensuring safe, guest-friendly cleaning during daily operations and special events.

This full-time role requires prior supervisory experience in housekeeping, a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of housekeeping or service experience required; four+ years with leadership preferred.
• Experience supervising staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead custodial staff and schedule routine services.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate with vendors.
• Order supplies and manage inventory.
• Provide safety training and coaching.
• Support special events and oversee guest-friendly cleaning.
