Job summary

Lakeshore Global Energy FM in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead custodial staff, maintain high cleanliness standards, and coordinate setups for city events. This role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to ensure buildings are secure and well-presented.

You will schedule daily tasks, respond to urgent cleaning requests, monitor supplies and equipment, and report maintenance issues to the Facility Representative and Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of custodial experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff and inspect assigned buildings to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Ensure all buildings are cleaned and prepared for the next business day.
• Assign and direct staff in special setups and teardowns, including coffee service, table arrangements, and unlocking and locking doors.
• Ensure all assigned buildings are properly secured and locked.
• Respond to emergency cleaning requests as needed.
• Coordinate and oversee facility preparation for City meetings, training sessions, special events, celebrations, and other functions.
• Provide custodial coverage and fill in for staff as needed.
• Monitor custodial supplies and notify the Project Manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Monitor custodial equipment and notify the Project Manager when repairs or maintenance are needed.
• Report building maintenance issues to the designated Facility Representative and Project Manager.
• Perform additional custodial and related duties as assigned.
