Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D required.
• Two years of custodial work history required.
• Experience with custodial procedures, inventory control, and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work with handicapped population; supervising multiple crews preferred.
• Interpersonal and reporting skills; ability to prepare required reports.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license; safe driving record.
• Evening and flexible hours; ability to pass government security clearance.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; physical ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Janitor 1 workers and Day Porter per contract requirements.
• Instruct staff in proper custodial procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate administrative and quality control records.
• Assign tasks and schedules to direct labor personnel.
• Maintain quality of custodial services and safety standards.
• Oversee setup of custodial carts and equipment for timely schedule.
• Maintain inventory as required and report needs.
• Provide feedback on daily services to Site Manager or designee.
