Job summary

UNLV is seeking a Custodial Supervisor II to oversee custodial operations for the TMC/Pavilion and Mendelhall facilities. The role directs a daily crew of seven to eleven staff, schedules shifts, and ensures cleaning, sterilization, and upkeep across multiple event buildings.

You will train staff, manage inventory and budgets, and assist with minor repairs and office moves while maintaining safety and quality standards in a dynamic event environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; three years of custodial/buildings maintenance experience in a multi-building facility.
• One year in a supervisory capacity with training and directing custodial workers; bid/spec procurement experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a custodial crew of seven to eleven staff across event facilities.
• Manage work schedules, prioritize duties and respond to custodial emergencies.
• Train staff on chemical use and assist with minor repairs; coordinate office moves and furniture placement.
• Review timesheets, approve payroll, and control inventory and vendor invoices within budget.
