Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Working Custodial Supervisor to support Mecklenburg County Courts on the evening shift.

The role requires a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm – 12:00 pm, with bilingual English and Spanish required to communicate across diverse teams and with court staff. You will supervise custodial staff, conduct daily inspections, manage supplies, lead safety meetings, and train your team, ensuring a safe, clean environment for court staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years custodial supervisory experience.
• Experience with marble polishing and maintenance, carpet care, and snow removal.
• Knowledge of recycling, HAZCOM waste handling, and waste removal.
• Expertise in floor maintenance, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and use of both automatic and manual floor machines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead custodial staff, including schedule preparation and oversight.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure all work specifications are met to the highest standards.
• Perform administrative duties, including completion of necessary forms and submittals.
• Manage and monitor custodial supplies during your shift.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide on-the-job training for your team.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for court staff and visitors.
