Job summary

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a Working Custodial Supervisor for the Mecklenburg County Courts in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role oversees custodial staff, conducts daily inspections, and ensures high standards of cleanliness and safety for staff and visitors.

Schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm – 12:00 am, with bilingual English/Spanish requirements. Benefits include life insurance, disability cover, medical options, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and paid leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years custodial supervisory experience required.
• Experience with marble polishing and maintenance, carpet care, and snow removal.
• Knowledge of recycling, HAZCOM waste handling, and waste removal.
• Expertise in floor maintenance, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and use of both automatic and manual floor machines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead custodial staff, including schedule preparation and oversight.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure all work specifications are met to the highest standards.
• Perform administrative duties, including completion of necessary forms and submittals.
• Manage and monitor custodial supplies during your shift.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide on-the-job training for your team.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for court staff and visitors.
