Job summary

Miami Dade Elections Bldg.-MIADA in Miami, FL is seeking a Custodial Worker to keep assigned areas clean and orderly. You will perform sweeping, mopping, and basic disinfection tasks in a fast-paced public facility.

The role requires basic cleaning experience, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and adherence to safety procedures. Training includes PPE use—gloves, mask, goggles—and the ability to communicate issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Three months of cleaning experience.
• Must be capable of communicating any problems to the immediate supervisor.
• Must have prior related experience and training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Sweep the floor to remove dirt and trash.
• Mops the floor and step wells to remove soil and dirt.
• Use peroxide chemical detergent.
• Use NABC cleaning / Disinfectant.
• Wear goggles, gloves, and a mask.
• Lifting is required.
• Other duties as assigned are common to this type of work.
