Job summary

Goodwill South Florida seeks a part-time Facilities worker to perform custodial duties and basic maintenance at North Dade Justice Center in North Miami, FL. The role requires cleaning tasks, safety awareness, and reliability on daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Prepare chemicals for use in the performance of various cleaning tasks, by instructions.
• Care for equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties as instructed and assigned, including but not limited to:
• Restroom cleaning, replenishing paper products, and soap in restrooms.
• Office cleaning, empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, sweep.
• Removal of trash
• Floor cleaning, sweep, dust mop, damp mop, and wet mop
• Performance of cleaning duties may take place in an indoor/outdoor environment, depending on the customer’s needs
• All other duties as assigned
