Cabot Public Schools is looking for a Custodial Response Team Custodian I to perform custodial tasks at assigned buildings in Cabot, Arkansas. The position offers 180 contract days on a part-time basis, following the Custodian Salary Schedule.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
• Successful completion of all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks to defined standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain the facility in a high state of cleanliness during the day.
• Follow instructions from the lead custodian and building administrator.
• Lift and move furniture and supplies as directed.
• Assist with the preparation of special events and activities.

Skills

Ability to follow oral or written work orders

Fluent in English

Ability to use computer skills

Ability to describe maintenance or repair problems

Ability to maintain cooperative relationships

Basic math skills

Ability to work in poor weather conditions
