Job summary

Pulaski County Special School District is seeking a Temporary General Custodian for the Little Rock, Arkansas area. The role involves cleaning and maintenance across district locations with a focus on safety and cleanliness to support student learning.

Responsibilities include floor care, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, grounds upkeep, moving furniture, and occasional ladder work. Immediate starting date and part-time schedule with pay $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn.
• Ability to do physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Scrub, mop, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Vacuum and clean carpet.
• Dust and polish furniture, wash windows, woodwork, venetian blinds, and bathrooms.
• Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
• Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
• Move office and school furniture as needed.
• Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
• Perform some heavy lifting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
