Job summary

San Diego Community College District (SDCCD) is seeking a Custodial Supervisor II to oversee custodial operations across campus locations. You will supervise staff, develop schedules, ensure safety and cleanliness, and coordinate with Facilities and Operations teams to deliver reliable services for students and staff.

The role requires supervisory experience in custodial operations, strong training abilities, and a commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming facilities in a higher‑ed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern custodial methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, hand tools, and equipment.
• Skills and abilities include analyzing situations, communication, relationship building, scheduling and time management.
• Training and Experience: one year supervisory experience at Custodial Crew Leader level or three years as a Custodian with one year supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise custodial operations across assigned campus locations.
• Provide direct supervision, training, and evaluation of custodial staff.
• Develop work schedules and ensure compliance with district standards, safety regulations and procedures.
• Coordinate cleaning services and collaborate with Facilities and Operations teams.
• Support continuous improvement, quality control, and accurate record-keeping.
