Job summary

San Diego Community College District is seeking a Custodial Supervisor II to lead the Facilities Services custodial team across district sites. This exempt role focuses on planning, scheduling, and ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming facilities that support learning and campus life.

The ideal candidate will supervise staff, ensure safety standards, and coordinate with Operations and Facilities teams. A valid CA driver’s license and supervisory experience in custodial settings are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic blueprint reading and modern custodial methods.
• Equivalent to: one year supervisory experience at Custodial Crew Leader or three years as a Custodian plus one year supervisory experience.
• Valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise custodial operations across assigned campus locations.
• Provide direct supervision, training, and evaluation of custodial staff.
• Coordinate cleaning services and respond to facility needs; maintain records and reports.
