Job summary

Columbus Foundation, Inc. is hiring a Custodial Team Lead in Salt Lake City, UT. The role oversees a custodial team, coordinates operations, and ensures quality control of equipment while maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA and company standards.

The position requires driving, organizing multiple crews, and delivering effective training and direction to staff. Bachelor's degree is preferred, with at least three years' related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in managing small crews.
• This position requires driving as part of the job duties.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and company regulations.
• Supervise employees and help delegate operations schedule to ensure proper coverage.
• Evaluates the performance of personnel and inspects assigned areas to ensure proper work performance; provides hands-on support.
• Identify and resolve problems and make recommendations for continuous quality improvement.
• Tracks purchasing activities, supply and equipment usage, and repairs.
• Ensure labeling, dilution, and storage meet standards and OSHA requirements.
• Provide on-the-job training for staff on task-specific duties.
• Participate in training to ensure effective communication and information distribution.
• Ensure customer standards are met and tasks are completed promptly.
• Inspect and evaluate establishment condition for program compliance, safety, quality, and service.
