Job summary

Monterey Peninsula College is seeking a Custodial Manager to plan, supervise, and coordinate custodial services across campus facilities. The role ensures sanitation, safety, and efficient operation of cleaning programs for students, faculty and staff.

The manager will lead Custodians and Custodian Leads, schedule work, and coordinate with contractors. Applicants should have high school completion and 4+ years in custodial work, including leadership experience, and are invited to apply for this

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and four or more years of custodial experience, with at least one year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Experience supervising custodial staff and coordinating with contractors is desirable.
• Familiarity with custodial methods, equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate day-to-day custodial operations to maintain a clean, safe learning environment.
• Assign, schedule, and evaluate custodial staff performance and provide training.
• Prepare budget estimates and monitor custodial expenditures.
