Job summary

Campus Services Group in New York City is seeking a School Account Manager in Training to develop leadership skills in environmental services. You’ll begin with hands-on training across day porter, custodian, and floor technician tasks.

You’ll lead small groups, learn payroll, staffing patterns, coaching, budgeting, and other operational skills, aiming to manage at a single site in the future. This role requires flexibility for 1st and 2nd shifts and travel between the five boroughs; salary

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years of environmental services experience in healthcare or school settings.
• Must provide a criminal background check and valid driver’s license.

Pay Rate

USD $50,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 /Yr.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform job assignments of day porter, custodian, and floor technician while teaching others to operate various industrial cleaning and laundry equipment.
• Lead small groups of staff in cleaning and laundry tasks across varying shifts.
• Acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements to eventually manage custodial and floor care staff at a single site.
• Develop skills in payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
• Utilize protective gear appropriately and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in environmental services within a healthcare or school setting with supervisory experience desired.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Must provide a criminal background check.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Offered salary rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
