Job summary

Campus Services Group in the Philadelphia area seeks a Custodial Manager in Training who will learn leadership while supporting daily cleaning and facilities operations. This role requires flexible hours across shifts, travel between locations, and collaboration with a diverse team as you develop payroll, staffing, coaching, and budgeting skills for future site management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2 years environmental services experience with supervisory exposure.
• Must have valid driver's license and criminal background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance as required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform job assignments of day porter, custodian, and floor technician while teaching others to operate various industrial cleaning and laundry equipment.
• Lead small groups of staff in cleaning and laundry tasks across varying shifts.
• Acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements to eventually manage custodial and floor care staff at a single site.
• Develop skills in payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.
• Utilize protective gear appropriately and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Role: Custodial Manager in Training

Hours: Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shift

Location: Travel required between locations in the greater Philadelphia Area

Pay Rate

USD $45,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr.

• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.


• Must be able to work around cleaning products.


• Must provide a criminal background check.


• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
