Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a School Custodial Manager to oversee environmental services at our New York facilities. The role focuses on leading the custodial team, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and coordinating day-to-day operations on a busy campus.

The position requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to manage staff across shifts. Location is in New York, NY 10003, with a competitive pay rate and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and public relations skills.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safe chemical handling.
• Basic computer skills for task documentation and reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Supervisory experience is desirable for leading environmental services staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the environmental services staff at a single campus, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Provide leadership and support to maintain high cleanliness standards, inventory management, and customer service excellence.
• Coordinate custodial projects and programs across shifts while acting as a key contact between occupants and staff.
• Train new employees, conduct quality assessments, and use QCIs to document performance and meet standards.
• Perform custodial duties as needed to support the team and operations.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Environmental Services in a school or healthcare setting with supervisory experience desired.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safe chemical handling.
• Strong communication and public relations skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and move for extended periods
• Must be able to work around cleaning products and in various environments
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
