Job summary

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a motivated Custodial Manager in Training with hands-on training and leadership growth opportunities in environmental services. The role requires flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shifts and travel between locations in the greater Philadelphia area.

Pay is USD 45,000.00 - 55,000.00 per year, with comprehensive benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, and financial wellness programs through PNC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of experience in environmental services within a healthcare or school setting with supervisory experience desired.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by state, local, and/or customers.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform job assignments of day porter, custodian, and floor technician while teaching others to operate various industrial cleaning and laundry equipment.
• Lead small groups of staff in cleaning and laundry tasks across varying shifts.
• Acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements to eventually manage custodial and floor care staff at a single site.
• Develop skills in payroll submission, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Assist in staff training, quality control, and in-servicing.

• Ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds and work around cleaning products.


• Must be able to work around cleaning products.


• Must provide a criminal background check.


• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
