Indy Fiber and Surface Cleaning LLC in Merrillville, IN is seeking a hard-working janitor who can manage staff, supervise cleaning operations, and maintain safety. You will perform dusting, disinfecting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, restroom and kitchen cleaning, and more while ensuring client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has custodial experience, a strong work ethic, and flexibility to cover shifts; a valid driver’s license is preferred for site access and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 7 years of janitorial experience.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
• Experience operating a variety of cleaning equipment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the buildings daily.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, clean restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash.
• Clean windows, restock supplies, report issues to management.
• Wipe spills and hazards with appropriate tools.
• Secure the building after cleaning is finished.
• Train staff and fill in for others as needed.
