Job summary

Indyfiberandsurfacecleaning is seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety of our facility. You will perform light dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and report any maintenance needs to the manager.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 4 years of janitorial experience, a valid driver's license or reliable transportation, and the stamina to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks daily.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of janitorial experience.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash daily.
• Clean windows, supply restrooms, report issues, request supplies.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards; ensure building security after hours.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
