Job summary

Two Rivers YMCA in Moline, IL seeks a Custodial Lead to manage cleaning operations across branches, ensuring high sanitation standards and safe, welcoming facilities for members and staff.

Responsibilities include supervising part-time custodial staff, coordinating with the Buildings and Grounds Director, maintaining supplies, and complying with safety and policy requirements. Weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise custodial staff and manage schedules.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, curricula and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee general cleaning duties of custodial staff and schedule.
• Maintain communication with staff and supervisor.
• Ensure proper staffing for events and building rentals.
• Inspect equipment and custodial work areas for proper use and maintenance.
• Provide custodial care for restrooms, floors, offices and program areas.
• Participate in YMCA annual campaign and activities.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Adhere to all YMCA policies and procedures.
