Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in California is seeking a Custodial Lead to ensure cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas while providing work direction to custodial staff. The role includes performing janitorial duties, following the daily schedule, and assisting the supervisor with scheduling and training.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, CPR/AED/First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Follow the daily schedule and complete assigned tasks.
• Provide work direction and assistance to custodial staff as directed by Custodial Supervisor.
• Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and manage equipment inventory.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Monitor use of PPE and ensure safety compliance.

Title:Custodial LeadJob Description:Job OverviewThe Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleProvide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial SupervisorAssist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as neededOperate motorized cleaning equipmentTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairSchedule clean up and repairs as neededMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaTrack and maintain supply inventoryAssist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrect at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediatelyThe ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
