Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Austin, TX, seeks a Custodial Lead to supervise cleaning teams and assure sanitation and safety. You will perform janitorial duties, schedule and train staff, and inspect work quality. A high school diploma or GED, 1+ year experience, CPR/AED/First Aid, and a valid driver’s license are required. Pay is hourly for the evening shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and daily cleaning tasks.
• Provide direction and assistance to custodians as needed.
• Assist scheduling and training of staff with Custodial Supervisor.
• Operate cleaning equipment and manage inventory of supplies.
• Inspect quality, service and safety of areas assigned.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor.

Title:Custodial LeadJob Description:Job OverviewThe Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Perform janitorial dutiesPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleProvide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial SupervisorAssist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as neededOperate motorized cleaning equipmentTrack equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairSchedule clean up and repairs as neededMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaTrack and maintain supply inventoryAssist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipmentPerform quality, service, and safety inspectionsReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorReport employee personnel and customer issues to supervisorMonitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and suppliesCorrect at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediatelyProvide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvementQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
