Job summary

SBM is seeking a Custodial Lead to oversee cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. You will provide guidance to custodial staff and assist the supervisor with scheduling, training, and inspections.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to drive to multiple locations. A driver’s license and CPR/AED/First Aid certification are required or may be needed. Competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Track inventory of supplies and equipment; assist in purchasing.

Custodial Lead# **Job Description:****Job Overview**The Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. **Roles & Responsibilities**To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.* Perform janitorial duties* Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule* Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor* Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed* Operate motorized cleaning equipment* Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair* Schedule clean up and repairs as needed* Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area* Track and maintain supply inventory* Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment* Perform quality, service, and safety inspections* Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor* Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor* Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies* Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately* The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.* Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement **Qualification**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Completed all safety and task training certification.
