Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation is seeking a Custodial Floor Care Supervisor to oversee daily floor maintenance in assigned facilities. You will supervise staff, ensure safety standards, and maintain equipment and supplies.

This role requires leadership, knowledge of floor care chemicals, OSHA rules, and the ability to manage schedules and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-5 years of custodial or floor care experience preferred.
• Supervisory or team lead experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, materials, and chemicals.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily floor care operations (stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet cleaning, etc.).
• Train custodial staff on floor care techniques, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
• Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop and manage floor maintenance schedules.
• Operate and maintain floor care equipment (buffers, burnishers, extractors, scrubbers).
• Monitor inventory of supplies and request replenishments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Respond to emergency cleaning or spill situations as needed.
• Maintain documentation of work performed and equipment maintenance.

Experience, Education, and Licensure

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds, push/pull 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously. Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

Work Authorization / Security Clearance

DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
