Summary:

The Custodial Night Manager is responsible for overseeing evening custodial operations at an assigned facility. This role ensures that cleaning services meet quality standards, staff are properly trained and supervised, and client expectations are consistently exceeded.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise, schedule, and coordinate custodial staff on a daily basis
  • Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed
  • Respond promptly to client requests, concerns, and service issues
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
  • Prepare reports on operations, staffing, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate special cleaning projects (floor care, deep cleaning, etc.)
  • Monitor timekeeping, attendance, and payroll accuracy for staff
  • Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSURE
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Experience leading a large custodial team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace)
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.

Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.

WORK AUTHORIZATION/SECURITY CLEARANCE

DoD Secret or higher security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
