Job summary

The DM Burr Group seeks a dedicated Custodial Floater for full-time work across multiple sites in Michigan. You will travel between locations, cleaning and maintaining facilities to high standards, with a flexible first- and second-shift schedule.

A $200 hiring bonus is offered after 90 days and DailyPay is available to access earned wages. Requirements include prior custodial experience, a GED or high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple sites in personal or company vehicle as needed.
• Clean facilities using approved methods and supplies.
• Perform tasks: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash.
• Operate floor equipment (autoscrubbers, vacuums) and maintain restrooms/kitchens.
• Set up/clean after events and assist with basic maintenance.

Position Available: Full Time Custodial Floater - Flexibility Needed

Scheduled:

Monday through Friday, Flexible availability needed on 1st & 2nd Shift. Must be able to travel outside of Flint, MI.

Wage:

$18.50/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

• Must travel to various locations in personal vehicle or company vehicle (site specific), in all weather, and available for all shifts
• Use approved methods and materials in cleaning and caring for assigned facility
• Cover open custodial runs, following a run sheet and scope of work that will include but are not limited to these tasks:
  • Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
  • Operate floor equipment such as; auto floor scrubbers and vacuums
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • General cleaning of furniture, windows, window sills, and walls
  • Stocking restrooms, janitorial closets and break rooms
  • Setting up and cleaning up after scheduled events
  • Light building maintenance
  • General snow removal/lawn care as needed

Position Requirements:

• Previous custodial/ janitorial experience.
• GED/High School Diploma

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
