School Support Services
To assist and promote La Joya ISD in implementing a rigorous curriculum/instructional program that supports student success and achievement.
To assist the Custodial Department in the distribution of district custodial supplies.
Mental Demands:
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); ability to meet established deadlines. Ability to maintain emotional control under stress; ability to work independently of others.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
Regular lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 40 lbs. Occasional lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs. Drive and operate forklift. Frequent standing, walking, pushing, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending and kneeling. May be subjected to adverse and hazardous working conditions, exposure to dust, toxic chemicals and materials, slippery or uneven walking surfaces. Exposure to extreme temperatures. Ability to work around moving objects and vehicles. Repetitive hand motions. Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.
