Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role offers part-time and full-time opportunities and weekly pay, with a pay rate of $15 per hour.

You will follow cleaning procedures, use standard equipment, and maintain restrooms, common areas, floors, and windows. A high school diploma or equivalent and attention to detail are required, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans and use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpacks vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs
