Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client’s specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or up to 6 months janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrances.
• Empty trash and assist with waste disposal as needed.
• Clean windows, mirrors and glass partitions.
• Spot clean carpets and assist with carpet care.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by client needs.
