Allegan Area ESA is seeking a Custodial staff member for the 2nd shift in Michigan. Duties include daily cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, and hallways, with an emphasis on safety and security of doors and windows. The position is full-time and starts at $16.44/hour, with a schedule Monday through Friday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and occasional district events on Saturdays.

Starting pay is $16.44 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to undergo background

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift (2:00 - 10:30 p.m.)
• Saturdays to provide custodial service at district events

Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Background check/fingerprints upon hire
• Experience with cleaning and custodial preferred

Duties:

• Daily classroom cleaning, including emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming, spot mopping and locking of doors and windows.
• Daily restroom cleaning, including disinfecting all fixtures, emptying trash, refilling soap and paper products, and removing graffiti and litter.
• Daily hallway cleaning, including picking up trash, emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming hallway and entry rugs, and spot mopping hard floors.
